Finding the time...

Find the time to read,

to smell the flowers,

to paint your dreams,

to have coffee with a friend,

to learn a new craft,

to a write a letter,

to bake a surprise cake,

to go somewhere special,

to REALLY be with the person you love,

or even to do nothing for a while...


Kaleidoscope

Hello there! 

I am currently writing this at 1:54am.  

Some nights I just can't get to sleep because I've got lots of things running through my mind. Mostly good things. Usually contemplating what my future is going to look like. I don't normally like to think too far ahead because I'm all about living for the moment but It's also nice to have a small hint of where I'm going. 

In all realness though, I'm not too worried about it. I feel like I have big things ahead of me. I don't know what they are but I feel like I have big opportunities to look forward to. God is good. And I put my trust in His plans for me. 

I just remembered something, have you ever seen the movie Big Fish? Such a good movie. Random I know but I like random and I just wanted to share another thing that was on my mind ;) 

Anyway, I am going to give this sleep thing a try.

Going Deeper. Galations 5:22

Galations 5:22 The Fruit of the Spirit

1) LOVE: a personal choice to put your needs last. 


2) JOY: a feeling of happiness that is based on spiritual realities. 


3) PEACE: the exhilaration of heart that comes from being right with God. 


"There are three dimensions to the peace that God offers to us though Christ: peace with God, peace with one another, and peace within ourselves. Many people care little about their relationships with God and other people, but they still want peace within themselves... it is impossible to know genuine internal peace unless you pursue peace with God and with others."

4) PATIENCE: the calm willingness to accept situations that are irritating or painful. 

5) KINDNESS: a tender concern for others. 

6) GOODNESS: moral and spiritual excellence known by its sweetness and active kindness. 

7) FAITHFULNESS: the quality which renders a person trustworthy or reliable. 

Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

8) GENTLENESS: characterized by a submissive spirit. 

Be completely humble and gentle...

9) SELF-CONTROL: refers to restraining passions or appetites.
